Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand addressed 98 probationary Sub-Inspectors ahead of their postings on 1 July, urging them to uphold ethics and integrity throughout their careers. He likened the journey to a Test match in cricket, warning against treating it like a T20, where haste can lead to mistakes, reputational damage, and consequences like suspension or Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) action.

Anand emphasised the need to deliver justice according to law, avoiding intentional harm, and staying mindful that “someone upstairs is watching”. He advised them to work hard in Law & Order and Traffic, maintain fitness and mental well-being, and cultivate hobbies beyond policing for a balanced life.
