Reddy also said that it was Chandrashekhar Rao who did not give minister’s post to women in his first Cabinet after coming to power in 2014.

Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy on Sunday, 19 March, accused BRS MLC K Kavitha of raking up the Women’s Reservation Bill to divert the attention from the Delhi liquor scam in which she was allegedly involved.
“Who did the liquor business and took the money? She has no moral right to talk about women,” he said talking to reporters at the BJP state office in Nampally in Hyderabad.
It was the BJP that made several women MPs and MLAs, and made them ministers, he added.
“The party has also given key posts to women and made a woman head of the Air Force war wing, and no other country in the world did that. When the Centre brought the Triple Talaq Bill, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao strongly opposed it to appease his friendly party from the Old City,” he further said.
It was Kavitha’s father Chandrashekhar Rao who did not give minister’s post to women in his first Cabinet after coming to power in 2014, Kishan Reddy said.
“It’s advisable for Kavitha to stage a protest in front of his father’s farmhouse or Pragathi Bhavan demanding 33 percent reservation for women,” he added.
Referring to the ongoing investigation into the liquor scam by the CBI and Enforcement Directorate (ED), he made it clear that the Central government and the BJP were not influencing the agencies.
The BJP’s only stand was that it would not spare anyone who committed an offence, he said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared from the Red Fort that the Central government would continue its fight against corruption and family rule, Kishan Reddy said.
He alleged that the BRS government was putting the blame on BJP unnecessarily to cover up its failures in the TSPSC question paper leak case.
He also said that the upcoming mega textile park allotted by the Centre in Telangana would ensure lakhs of jobs directly and indirectly to the youth.
The prime minister would soon visit the city to lay the foundation stone for the modernisation works of the Secunderabad Railway Station and a Vande Bharat train from Secunderabad to Tirupati would be launched soon, he said.
