Days after a video showing a heated altercation at a residential society in Kapra went viral, the man accused of verbally abusing a Muslim youth and calling him a “Pakistani” has issued a public apology.
In a video statement released after widespread criticism on social media, the man said his remarks were made in the heat of the moment during a dispute within the housing society and apologised to both the youth and the Muslim community. He said he had “misspoken” and expressed regret over the comments.
