Massive fire breaks out at Mangala Gowri Shopping Mall on Road No. 36, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad on Thursday, 26 February.

The blaze reportedly started in a clothing showroom and flames rapidly spread to multiple floors.

Three fire tenders had reached the spot and firefighters doused the flames. According Telangana Fire Department, no casualty, or injury were in the incident. According to reports, 10 people were working inside the mall, but came out when the fire broke out.

The owner of the shopping mall said that the innovation was going on, as they were trying to to design it like a Temple.

Meanwhile, Jubilee Hills MLA Vallala Naveen Yadav speaking to the media said, “Fire broke out at the Mangalya Gowri Saree showroom…No casualties have been reported…10 people were working inside but they came out of the building when the fire broke out.”

Earlier, another fire had broken out at the Maitrivanam Complex in Hyderabad around 11 am on Friday, 20 February. The blaze was reported in the Neelagiri block of the building, which houses several coaching institutions. Around 70 to 80 people, including multiple students, were inside when the fire started.

Police and fire department personnel rushed to the spot and evacuated those trapped through balconies using ladders. The fire was brought under control within half an hour.
