The much-awaited week is here as India gears up to host its first-ever Formula E race in Hyderabad. Six days to go.
While the mega event is scheduled on 11 February, the Telangana government on Sunday, 5 February, kicked off its flagship event — the Hyderabad E-Mobility Week — to commemorate the race with a different event every day.
The events are expected to culminate with the Formula E race on 11 February.
Mohammad Bin Sulayem, president of the world governing body for four-wheel racing FIA, has been invited to attend the race.
Meanwhile, the first consignment — including eight cars and around 99 tonnes of race-car components — arrived on 2 February at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA).
