Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy
With the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting heavy rains across Telangana over the next few days, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed all district Collectors and officials to remain on high alert.
He reviewed the situation from the state Secretariat and instructed departments to coordinate closely and ensure swift relief measures in flooded and low-lying areas, including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.
“Officials should be available round the clock in the districts,” he said, emphasising timely response and deployment of Disaster Management teams to minimise damage and safeguard lives. Regular inter-departmental reviews have also been mandated.
