Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair lauded Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s ambitious “Telangana Rising Vision-2047” initiative, calling it a compelling roadmap for the state’s future.

Blair expressed his appreciation in a formal letter following a recent meeting with the Telangana chief minister in New Delhi. During the interaction, Revanth Reddy outlined the key goals of the Vision-2047 plan—aiming to transform Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by mid-century while focusing on inclusive growth, investment, infrastructure, and sectoral advancement in IT, agriculture, and youth empowerment.

A Letter of Intent (LoI) was exchanged between the Telangana government and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI), marking the beginning of a strategic partnership. The collaboration will see TBI support the state in planning and implementing its long-term development goals.

Blair praised the vision’s clarity and ambition, assuring continued assistance from TBI’s India team. He also encouraged the Telangana leadership to engage actively with the institute’s representatives and expressed eagerness for the formal unveiling of the Vision-2047 document.
