Cyberabad police bust interstate ATM theft gang, ₹20 lakh recovered
In a major breakthrough, Jeedimetla police in Cyberabad arrested three members of an interstate ATM theft gang and recovered ₹20 lakh in cash and assets.
The accused — Yasib Hussain and Md Abed from Haryana, and Aamir Ansari from Hyderabad — were involved in multiple ATM thefts across the country and have been linked to at least four cases in Telangana.
Police seized ₹17 lakh in cash and four two-wheelers from their possession.
Notably, Yasib Hussain and Md Abed are repeat offenders with prior convictions in Haryana, including charges under the POCSO Act.
