BJP Telangana president Bandi Sanjay.

Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Sunday, 18 June, said the Congress leaders who were daydreaming of forming government in the state conveniently forgot that they lost horribly in by-elections and GHMC elections in Telangana.

“Tainted Politicians of Crime & Corruption (TPCC) are building castles in the air,” he said, using the initials of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee.

“A trailer of what happens if the Congress comes to power is seen in Karnataka where they repealed the anti-conversion law against Hindus. Removed content about KB Hedgewar and VD Savarkar from history,” he noted.

“Will they keep chapters on terrorists like Osama bin Laden and Kasab?” he asked.

Criticising Congress, BRS

“The rice distribution scheme of the Congress in Karnataka is so flawed. Telangana, which Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao claims to be a rice bowl, also denied to help Karnataka and is now open to investment from the Adani Group, after all the drama by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi,” he said.

According to Sanjay, the Congress was trying to create uncertainties in Telangana about pensions, the Dharani portal and welfare schemes.

On the other hand, Chandrashekar Rao was also trying to create unrest among people by saying that welfare schemes would go away if BRS didn’t come to power, he said.

But the Telangana BJP was abiding by the Constitution, believing that India is a welfare state and that the welfare of citizens is paramount.

“Once the BJP comes to power in Telangana, we will continue the social security schemes, correct all the flaws, make them even better to cater to only to people and not to the politicians and their families,” Sanjay said.

Dares KCR to release white paper

He dared Chandrashekar Rao to release a white paper on the BRS government’s development works, debts, and assurances given to the people in the last nine years.

He termed the statements of a few leaders that the Congress would get 45 seats in the next Assembly elections as a big joke.

He sought to know how can the Congress, which lost deposit in previous elections, would win 45 seats.

The Telangana chief minister was conspiring to lift the Congress during the elections and he would decide the names of the Congress leaders, who would be contestants, in the elections.

He said the chief minister would extend financial assistance to 30 candidates in the next elections.

Sanjay also took strong objection to the comments made by Telangana Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on the dresses of women.

He reviewed the arrangements to be made for the public meeting to be organised at Nagarkurnool on 25 June. BJP national president JP Nadda will address cadres at the meeting.
