Union Tourism Minister G Kishan Reddy on Sunday, 2 July, said the Union government was according top priority for creating more infrastructure facilities in Telangana.
“Regional Ring Road (RRR) will be a game-changer for Telangana,” Kishan Reddy said at a press conference in the Warangal district.
He was in the district to review the arrangements to be made for the successful conduct of the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone for a mega textile park and railway periodic overhauling unit in Kazipet on 8 July.
BJP Telangana state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar and BJP MLA Etala Rajender were also present.
“The Centre will start RRR works as early as possible when the state government hands over required land to us,” Reddy said, adding that the Centre would also take up the Railway Ring Road project to link it with RRR and it has already issued instructions to do a survey.
The periodic overhauling unit that would be coming up in Kazipet would manufacture 200 wagons every month, he said.
Stating that the Centre was extending necessary assistance to the state government, he said the BRS government was unnecessarily throwing mud on the central government.
He clarified that the central government would not be biased towards any state in the country.
Sanjay said the people were ready to support the BJP in the next Assembly elections in the state, ensuring its victory and forming the government.
The Congress has no base to fight the elections alone even if one or two leaders join it. It did not get a deposit in Huzurabad, Munugode and Dubakka by-elections elections conducted earlier, he said.
Sanjay alleged the Congress was hatching a conspiracy with the BRS to defeat the BJP and added that the agenda of the BJP is the welfare of the people and that the party would strive hard to establish ‘Ramarajyam’ in Telangana.
He said the BJP was the only alternative for BRS and requested the cadre to make the public meeting of Modi in Warangal a success.
Even as tweets posted by different leaders in Telangana BJP continue to put the high command on the edge, BJP MLA Etala Rajender posted a tweet on Sunday, saying that he would work for the party as a soldier.
The party workers were literally waiting for the last 50 years to win elections right from Sarpanch to Member of Parliament.
The cadre faced humiliation and loss and even made sacrifices. Holding BJP flags, the cadre and leaders are striving for strengthening the party and today time has arrived to seek the blessings of the people and ensure the BJP’s victory under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“I will work as a soldier with the blessings of people and I always support you (cadre) in their endeavour,” he tweeted. He also posted a similar tweet in Hindi.
Sources said Rajender’s tweet in Hindi indicates that the central leadership might appoint him to a crucial post.
