The BJP MP asked people to ensure the victory of Madhavi Latha to stop Hyderabad from turning into Pakistan.
In an apparent response to AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi’s infamous “15 minutes” dialogue in 2013, BJP MP Navneet Rana said that if the police were momentarily withdrawn for just 15 seconds, the Owaisi brothers would be wondering about their whereabouts.
Rana, seeking a fresh term in the Lok Sabha from Amaravati in Maharashtra, was addressing a meeting seeking support for the saffron party’s Hyderabad candidate Madhavi Latha.
Addressing AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Akbaruddin Owaisi as bade bhai and chote bhai, she said, “The chote bhai was asking to remove police for 15 minutes in Hyderabad but I will challenge you might be taking fifteen minutes but for us, only 15 seconds is enough to show where did chote and bade came from and where had they gone.”
She was referring to the 2013 statement of Akbaruddin Owaisi who had said that if the police were removed for 15 minutes, “We (Muslims) will finish 100 crore Hindus”.
Reacting to her comments, Asadduddin Owaisi on Thursday, 9 May said that he was ready to face the challenge.
Rana made the comments during a Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha — the youth wing of the BJP — meeting in Hyderabad on 7 May.

Terming Latha as a Sherni (lioness), she said, “There should be people to stand alone against the rulers of the Mughal empire and speak about the existence of Hindutva in Hyderabad. If there were no people like Madhavi Latha and BJP, then Hyderabad would become Pakistan. All the Hindus should come together and wake up other Hindus (Jagao Hinduvon ko) this time.”
She further stated that youth should rethink about whom to be chosen for the Hyderabad constituency.
Appreciating how Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been respecting Hindus in the country, she recalled the “justice” obtained for Ayodhya’s Ram Temple.
“Congress party has fielded a dummy candidate for Hyderabad constituency as the AIMIM and Congress are together,” Rana claimed.
“This is a war to ensure that Hyderabad does not become Pakistan. To ensure that vote for Madhavi Latha and make her win the election,” she added.
Rana further said that Telangana was her karma bhoomi and the name Navneet Kaur was given by the Telugu people.

In response to Rana’s statements, Asaduddin Owaisi said they were ready for all the challenges that were being issued.
Claiming that Modi had the weapons, he asked the prime minister to provide her with one hour instead of 15 seconds
During his campaigning on Thursday, Asaduddin Owaisi said, “We would like to witness if there is any humanity left in them. Why are they only speaking let them do it. Who is scared? If someone is making an open call for it, let them do it. Prime Minister in Delhi is yours, RSS is yours, everything is yours,” he said.
“We are ready. Tell us where we have to come, and we will be there,” he claimed.
Reacting to her comments that Hyderabad will become Pakistan, he said, “BJP has no idea about the population and they all believe we are from Pakistan. The realities blindfold them as PM Modi openly speaks about Muslim women, he also makes comments on women’s Mangalsutra.

He also claimed that the BJP hated India’s diversity and pluralism.
