Backward Classes leaders will not become chief minister till KCR is in power, claims Eatala Rajender

BJP MLA Eatala Rajender said that only the family members of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will be made chief minister of the state till the BRS is in power.

Rajender added that the leaders from other communities would not have any chance of being given the chief minister’s position as long as KCR is in power..

Addressing a press conference along with BJP OBC national president K Laxman in Hyderabad, on Saturday, 28 October, Rajender said the president of the BRS would also be from the family of the chief minister.

Rajender went on to claim that even the in-charges of the BRS units in other states would be from among the chief minister’s family members, who won’t give any chance to people from other communities.

‘People’s lives unchanged’

Rajender said that after the formation of a separate Telangana state, everyone felt that the lives of people belonging to Backward Classes (BCs) would change but only Chief Minister KCR’s family members got plum posts while the lives of the people, who voted for Kalwakuntla during elections, did not change.

Rajender criticised KCR for failing to make a Dalit the chief minister of Telangana. It was the BJP that made Narendra Modi, who belongs to OBC, the Prime Minister of India and a tribal woman Droupadi Murmu the President of India, he claimed.

However, the ruling BRS continued to ignore the BCs on all fronts, said Rajender.

Laxman said both the BRS and the Congress have duped the BCs in the state.

Laxman added that for the first time the BJP declared that a leader from the BC community would be made the chief minister of the State if the party is voted to power in the Assembly elections to be held on November 30.

Laxman asked the people to put an end to the corrupt and dynasty rule in the state.
