Telangana Tourism has begun the new year with a revitalised commitment to enhancing the state’s travel and tourism experience. The Telangana government has launched a dynamic campaign aimed at reviving the tourism sector and positioning the state as the most preferred travel destination in India.
Endorsing the view of the Telangana Tourism, Tollywood Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni made an appeal to the people living in other states to visit Telangana and savour the scenic beauty and pamper their senses to its delectable cuisine.
The actor, in a video message which Telangana Tourism has released on X, said that there were several places which offer breath-taking views of Telangana’s natural wonders. He recalled how much he likes Telangana food, particularly Hyderabad’s chicken biryani and chai with Karachi biscuits.
He said: “The waterfalls of Jodeghat, Mitte and Bogatha offer a beautiful sight. Then there are thousand pillars and Rampappa temple. Rampappa temple has world heritage status. They are not only very beautiful but also promote spirituality. I went to Yadagiri Gutta several times. The kind of bliss that I felt there is something that cannot be described in words. Jowar Roti and Ankapur chicken snacks tell me how good sarva flour is. Then there are Irani Chai, Karachi Biscuits and Hyderabadi Biryani. They are popular all over the world. My mouth is watering even as I am referring them to you. All of you come down to our Telangana and visit all the places that are resplendent with nature’s beauty and be part of it.”

The government is confident that 2025 marks a turning point for tourism in the state, encouraging people from all walks of life to “Travel Telangana” and explore its vibrant culture and unmatched hospitality.
