A shocking incident occurred on the morning of Monday, 14 April, at a private school in Palayamkottai, where a eighth standard student allegedly attacked a fellow student with a machete, resulting in serious injuries.
Apart from the student, a teacher who intervened in an attempt to break up the fight was also injured when the weapon slipped from the accused student’s hand. The teacher has also been hospitalized and is undergoing treatment.
