A tragic incident occurred in Singampunari in the Sivaganga district of Tamil Nadu, where a seven-year-old boy named Aswanth, hailing from Vengai Patti and studying at Jesril, a private CBSE school, died on Monday, 30 June, under suspicious circumstances.
According to reports, Aswanth had gone to school on Monday morning but was soon admitted to the government hospital with bleeding injuries on his face and mouth. It is alleged that school authorities dropped him off at the hospital and left. The boy later succumbed to his injuries.
Demanding justice for Aswanth’s death, the residents have been protesting continuously.
