Synopsis: Nine migrant workers from northern India were killed on Tuesday when scaffolding collapsed during construction at the Ennore Thermal Power Plant in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The workers had been installing a massive bend structure at the site. The injured were taken to Stanley Hospital in Royapuram, where they remain in critical condition receiving intensive medical care.
