Several actors from the Tamil film industry have congratulated Vijay following the impressive performance of the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) in its debut Tamil Nadu Assembly election.

Actor Sivakarthikeyan, in a post on social media, praised Vijay for making a significant impact among the people in his very first electoral outing. “Congratulations to Vijay sir for achieving such a big victory and impact in his first election. It is an added joy that you come from the film industry. Wishing you success in your public service,” he said.

Actors Jiiva and G. V. Prakash Kumar also extended their wishes to Vijay on social media, applauding his entry into politics and the party’s strong performance.
