A 63-year-old man on a morning walk was fatally attacked by a wild elephant at Srimangala Wildlife range in Kodagu on Monday. The deceased, Ayyamada Madaiah, had gone to Kodagu from Bengaluru to oversee the construction of his house. While walking in a coffee estate, he came across the elephant, which attacked and left him dead at the scene.
