Many Indian unmarried women dread visiting the gynaecologist’s clinic. They complain that doctors lecture them against promiscuity and judge the patients’ character rather than focusing on the medical issue. Many women confide feeling humiliated at this time-warp mentality. Doctors are beginning to change, dealing with patients with love and respect and imparting knowledge on safe sex.
