Political analysis is focused on the “why” of TDP’s alliance with BJP in Andhra Pradesh. While Jagan Reddy of YSRCP is likely to support the BJP if needed, the same is not true of Chandrababu Naidu. In the absence of a pre-poll alliance, he could swing towards the Opposition. Prudence suggests it’s better to win him over before the polls.
