New research finds men with diabetes are at higher risk of major health complications compared to diabetic women. Complications such as heart disease, and diseases affecting the legs, feet, kidneys, and eyes were observed more frequently in men than in women, regardless of the duration of their diabetes. The study was conducted by researchers from The University of Sydney, Australia.
