Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) and other authorities are trying to expedite the rescue operations after the massive landslide in the Wayanad district. The health department has opened a district-level control room. Control rooms have been set up in the Health Minister’s office and the Health Department Directorate. A special control room has been set up at the Police Headquarters in Thiruvananthapuram.
