To effectively deal with challenges posed by climate change, Wayanad district in Kerala launched DMSuite, a first-of-its-kind integrated platform for disaster management. A key feature of DMSuite is its real-time rainfall data collection from 25 gram panchayats. This data is crucial for early warning systems and can help plan proactive measures against potential landslides and floods.
