The family of an engineering student in Andhra Pradesh who allegedly died by suicide on 29 March claimed the teenager took the extreme step due to sexual harassment. The 17-year-old girl was a student at Chaitanya Engineering College in Kommadi in Visakhapatnam. She sent messages to her parents and sister about the alleged sexual abuse she had had to face.
