Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel HD Kumaraswamy on Thursday, 11 July, asserted that the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) will not be privatised under any circumstances. The minister told reporters that the question of privatisation did not arise at all. He said he was aware of the fact that several employees were dependent on the survival of the VSP.
