Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) founder president and Lok Sabha MP Thol Thirumavalavan has demanded the Centre initiate proactive measures to implement the stipulated percentage of reservation for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in promotions, as directed by the Supreme Court. Thirumavalavan raised the demand in a memorandum submitted to the Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment.
