An electoral victory for the BJP need not usher in any change in budgetary allocation for the state, Kerala realised on Tuesday. The Union Budget had no major announcements or financial packages for Kerala, whose name was not even mentioned. The lone BJP Lok Sabha MP from Kerala, Suresh Gopi, had given the state hopes of having an AIIMS.
