The UDF in Kerala on Wednesday, 12 June, wrote to Governor Arif Mohammed Khan requesting him not to approve two Bills the Assembly passed on 10 June without any discussion. The Bills, Kerala Panchayati Raj (Second Amendment) Bill, 2024, and Kerala Municipality (Second Amendment) Bill, 2024 were to be referred to the subject committee after their introduction in the House.
