Tharoor pooh-poohs BJP claim of doing well in South India

Senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Thursday, 11 April, dismissed as “propaganda mill” BJP’s claim of a strong performance in South India, and said the BJP’s northern narratives like communalism, religious division, and nativist social cleavages, do not pass muster there. he said the quest for dominance of “Hindi, Hindutva, Hindustan” is indeed a threat to plural consciousness.
