Thane hate speech: PUCL urges action against BJP’s Raja Singh

At least 8 hate speech cases against Hyderabad MLA Raja Singh in last one year but not even a single chargesheet filed

The PUCL on Monday, 1 April, wrote to the Maharashtra DGP seeking urgent action against “repeat offender” T Raja Singh for an alleged hate speech he delivered in Thane. Raja Singh is a BJP MLA representing the Goshamahal constituency in Telangana. The civil liberties organisation said Raja Singh’s and others’ speeches smacked of “communal propaganda and inciteful hate.”
