The Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TGSPDCL) has received no intimation about the government assigning the Adani Group to collect electricity charges, officials claim. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said the Adani Group will be responsible for collecting power bills in Hyderabad’s Old City. The announcement even made residents prevent TGSPDCL employees, mistaking them to be Adani staff, in the area.
