T’gana sub-registrar, who made headlines, held while taking bribe

Telangana’s Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested Sub-Registrar Taslima Mohammed and Data Entry Operator Aleti Venkatesh in Mahabubnagar for demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹19,200 for land registration. Taslima grabbed headlines last year after she refused “zero tickets” and insisted on paying for them. The ACB said the duo was caught red-handed based on businessman Gudagani Harish’s complaint.
