On 7 March, the High Court of Telangana quashed a gazette notification appointing Kodandaram and Khan as members under the Governor's quota.

Telangana may resend to the Governor names of Telangana Jana Samiti president M Kodandaram and Siasat News editor Amer Ali Khan as MLC nominees under the Governor’s quota. The high court had recently quashed their appointment. The Governor may send to the government the previous government’s recommendation of Dasoju Sravan and Kurra Satyanarayan as MLCs she had rejected in September 2023.
