A 21-year-old degree student was allegedly beaten up and strangled to death by seven students, including a minor, for advising an intermediate first-year student to study rather than cheat in the ongoing exams. The police said seven students, including the junior student’s brother, were arrested for Venkat’s death at a state-run hostel in Telangana’s Nizamabad.
