A 21-year-old engineering student from Nalgonda district allegedly died by suicide in Ghatkesar near Hyderabad on Tuesday, after losing ₹1.03 lakh in betting. The third-year B Tech student jumped in front of a goods train, police said. He had used his college fees for betting and incurred a loss, according to GRP.
