A 29-year-old man from Telangana, who is accused of raping a 27-year-old woman from Chhattisgarh, was arrested on the night of 29 July, at the international airport in Hyderabad, when he was about to escape to Australia by a flight via Sri Lanka, police said. The victim had accused the man, who hails from Jangaon district in Telangana, of raping her at a hotel in Hyderabad.
