Telangana highlights high risk of viral infections, waterborne diseases

Telangana’s Health Department has cautioned that moderate temperatures and humidity were also “a breeding ground for various viral infections as well as mosquito, food, and water-borne diseases.” The high moisture content allows harmful microorganisms to thrive, leading to the transmission of a range of diseases through different mediums — such as mosquitoes, water, air, and contaminated food, doctors have warned.
