Telangana govt college medicos charge principal of harassment

The medical college, which started functioning in 2022, has just two batches of students.

Students of the government-run medical college at Bhadradri Kothagudem in Telangana have accused the principal of verbally abusing female students. Principal Dr RL Lakshaman Rao allegedly disliked their night dresses and asked them if their mothers also wore such clothes. He objected to their removing ‘chunnis’ during yoga sessions. The principal’s assistant constantly took their photographs and videos, they claimed.
