Telangana child rights panel for probe into child-selling racket

A police official said that 16 children have been rescued in the racket so far and that they have been sent to a state-run children's home.

The Telangana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has directed the state women development and child welfare department to conduct a thorough inquiry into the recently busted child selling racket and initiate appropriate action. A police official said 16 children have been rescued in the racket so far and that they have been sent to a state-run children’s home.
