Former TDP Rajya Sabha member Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar wrote to Rajiv Kumar, Chief Election Commissioner on Friday, 12 April regarding the Andhra government allegedly ordering unauthorised phone tapping of TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh. Ravindra Kumar also alleged that the state DGP and Intelligence Chief were acting on YSRCP orders. Lokesh is the son of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu.
