TDP vows to continue 4% Muslim quota as Modi says ‘no’ to it

Even as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is promising to scrap reservation for Muslims, BJP’s ally in Andhra Pradesh, TDP, has promised to continue the four percent reservations for Muslims. Chandrababu Naidu’s statement came as a surprise since the BJP, which is part of the tripartite alliance headed by the TDP in the state, is against reservations based on religion.
