According to a Bloomberg report, Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP seeks $12 billion in aid from the Centre for Andhra Pradesh. The chief minister met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 4 in New Delhi, emphasising the state’s challenges post-bifurcation in 2014. He urged increased central support to boost growth, advocating for enhanced aid in lieu of special category status.
