TDP Narsipatnam MLA Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu’s candidature for the post of Speaker in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly has more or less been finalized. Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is understood to be favouring his candidature. A Velama, Ayyanna Patrudu is a six-time legislator. Meanwhile, TDP has reportedly decided to favour seniormost legislator Gorantal Butchaiah Chowdary to be the pro-tem speaker.
