TDP-led Jana Sena, BJP alliance set to sweep Andhra: exit poll

Some surveys predicted a one-sided victory for the TDP-led alliance, while others expected the incumbent YSRCP to return to power.

An Andhra Pradesh exit poll says TDP-led alliance may sweep both elections. Peoples Pulse Research Organization survey revealed TDP would get 95-110 seats in the 175-member Assembly, Jana Sena, 14-20 seats and BJP, 2-5 seats. YSRCP may get 45-60 seats. In Lok Sabha, TDP may get 13-15 seats, Jana Sena 2 and BJP 2-4, with YSRCP getting 3-5 seats.
