Tax evasion scandal hits Narayana Educational Institutions, NSPIRA

Unaccounted cash amounting to ₹1.81 crore was seized from the offices of Puneeth, son-in-law of former TDP minister Ponguru Narayana.

Police have raided the premises of Puneeth Kothapa, Managing Director of NSPIRA Management Services and President of Narayana Educational Society Management Committee in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh and seized unaccounted-for cash worth ₹1.81 crore. Puneeth is the son-in-law of former TDP minister Ponguru Narayana, who is the TDP contestant from Nellore constituency. The company, facing tax evasion cases, denied the charges.
