Tamil Nadu Prohibition and Excise Minister S Muthusamy told the assembly on Friday, 21 June, that bootleggers remorseful and wishing to turn a new leaf will be rehabilitated after they serve a prison term. His statement comes amid the Kallakurichi hooch tragedy that has claimed the lives of 48 persons and has affected the health of more than 100 people.
