Farmers, on 10 March, staged agitations by blocking trains in railway stations across Tamil Nadu as a mark of solidarity with farmers of northern regions. They demanded that the Centre fulfil assurances made on issues, including Minimum Support Price. “Enact law to assure MSP”, “Modi regime bring law for MSP”, “Waive loans taken by farmers” were among the slogans raised.
