Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, 6 May, said he was taking legal advice on how to return poor people’s money ‘looted’ in corruption. At a rally in Andhra, he recalled ED discovering “mounds of cash” from a domestic help linked to a Jharkhand minister. Obliquely criticising Congress, he wondered why such persons were “close to the Congress’ first family”.
