Sweating Karnataka may get light showers on 9 April

Bengaluru recorded 37.6 degree Celsius, the highest that the mercury has gone in the past eight years in this city.

Several parts of Karnataka are experiencing extremely hot weather. Kalaburagi recorded the highest temperature at 43.1° Celsius on Sunday. Bengaluru recorded 37.6° Celsius, the highest in the past eight years. Raichur (41.8° Celsius), Bagalkote (41.5° C), Koppal (41.3° C), and Vijayapura (41° C), too, are sweating under the scorching sun. The IMD, meanwhile, predicted light rainfall on Tuesday at isolated places in several districts.
