The long-standing debate over establishing an AIIMS in Kerala has once again ignited fervent discussions. BJP’s Suresh Gopi, shortly after taking office as Union MoS, said AIIMS would come up in Kerala but not in Kozhikode, as previously speculated upon. His refusal to name the new location has left political circles in suspense.
